Introduction
Nicole White is a nurse practitioner who provides primary care services for pediatric patients. Nicole has more than a decade of experience caring for children and nearly 20 years’ experience in nursing.
“Working in primary care, you get the perspective of creating wellness,” she says. “I enjoy working with the families of young patients to help them grow into the healthiest adults they can be.”
Nicole values communicating directly with her young patients, when possible, and takes the time to listen to what they and their caregivers have to say. She finds it important to be thorough and thoughtful during patient visits.
Nicole also completed special education and training to help in child abuse and neglect cases. She collaborates with community groups to assist with child abuse prevention efforts and provide those organizations with needed services.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, camping, and reading.
