Introduction
Stacey Sheffield is an acute care nurse practitioner who doesn’t stop until she finds what her patients need to feel better. “I am a fierce patient advocate,” Stacey says. “Sharing trust is a high priority for me, so I always want open lines of communication with my patients and colleagues.”
People feel right at home in Stacey’s presence – she radiates compassion and approachability and makes sure her patients feel heard when they’re in her care. She also wants to ensure her patients have the support they need outside their time in the hospital by helping them transition back to their primary care provider.
When she’s not helping patients, Stacey enjoys collecting fine china of all different patterns, cooking, Duke basketball, and creating memories with her family and friends.
