Introduction
Dr. Varghese Parambi is a physician who has been practicing nephrology since 1997. His special areas of interest include electrolyte disturbances, kidney transplantation, and management of chronic kidney disease.
He encourages his patients to participate in their own care. “I believe patient choice is very important,” he says, “My role is to educate my patients and then support them, no matter what choice they make.”
While a kidney expert, Dr. Parambi treats the whole patient instead of treating the kidney as a separate entity. He recommends proper diet and regular exercise to ensure good health and promotes an “everything in moderation” mindset.
Outside of his work, Dr. Parambi enjoys traveling and playing tennis and golf.
