Mammography Prep Instructions

By following the instructions below carefully that apply to your specific exam, you help us to ensure the best possible diagnostic quality.

Day of procedure:

• No deodorant or perfumes
• Arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork

If you have had mammograms elsewhere, please bring the necessary information for us to request the records from your previous provider.

Screening mammograms will be read by a Radiologist later that same-day. You will be notified by Benefis if any additional views and/or ultrasounds are needed, and will be scheduled appropriately.
