Providing Comfort, Compassion, and Support

Hospice care helps make people with terminal illness more comfortable and improve their quality of life. The goal is to provide compassionate, respectful care and assistance for people facing the end of life.

Benefis hospice providers deliver care in the hospital, in long-term care facilities, and at home. We also offer hospice at Benefis Peace Hospice of Montana. Our hospice team is specially trained to help people as they face the emotional, spiritual, and practical matters of a life-ending illness. We offer 24/7 care and support to patients, caregivers, and families.

Our Hospice Care Team

We create a team based on individual needs. Hospice team members work with the patient’s primary care provider to create and follow a plan that lets the patient live out their last days according to their preferences. The hospice team, led by a healthcare provider, may include:

  • Chaplains
  • Clinical social workers
  • Dietitians
  • Home health aides
  • Nurses
  • Pharmacists
  • Physical, occupational, and speech-language therapists
  • Trained volunteers

We can help arrange companionship for patients or give caregivers a break, help locate home medical equipment, and more. Our goal is to assist families by providing services and support during a difficult time.

We offer hospice services in the following counties:

  • Cascade
  • Chouteau
  • Pondera
  • Teton
  • Toole
