Hand Therapy

Hand Therapy is a type of rehabilitation performed by an occupational therapist on patients with conditions affecting the hands and upper extremities

Every patient's treatment program is individually designed by a therapist in accordance with the patient's medical and personal history, the diagnosis and the length of recovery for the condition.

All therapy is performed by an occupational therapist with a high degree of specialization that requires continuing education and most often advanced certification. The experienced, professional staff at Benefis Therapy Center assists patients in achieving maximum functional use of the injured extremity and returning them to a productive lifestyle quickly. A prescription for Occupational Therapy is required from a Physician.
