Each year, Benefis departments are asked to come up with a creative/fun basket to raffle. Proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets are used to support the Caring For Our Own fund, which provides financial assistance to Benefis employees and volunteers who are experiencing an unexpected or unavoidable crisis or emergency.

Tickets will go on sale starting Monday, November 16th and end on Friday, December 21st. Ticket prices:

  • $1.00 each
  • 10 for $5.00
  • 25 for $10.00

Last year, the 541 donors to Caring For Our Own helped 124 employees with $80,211 in assistance. These donors helped employees through pregnancy loss and a parent's medical care out of state. They helped fellow employees travel to Mayo Clinic for treatment and to Salt Lake City for cancer operations. They helped an employee whose infant was hospitalized, and another who was in a car wreck. They eased the way for an overwhelmed single mom.

Tickets may be purchased online via payroll deduct or debit card. You will also have the option to purchase tickets in-person at designated locations/campuses like, Human Resources, Gift Shops, and CFOO Committee Members. When you buy raffle tickets, you are buying them for ANY basket – we will be drawing the winners for each basket on the afternoon of Monday, December 21st.
