Student nurses help ensure our quality healthcare into the future. We offer a variety of educational scholarships to worthy candidates.

Doris Smith Nursing Scholarship and Rev. Van Orsdel Nursing Scholarship

These scholarships are administered through the Benefis Healthcare Foundation. They are awarded each year to exceptional nursing students enrolled in the MSU degree program at Great Falls Extended Campus.

Benefis Health System Foundation Healthcare Scholarship Program

Benefis Foundation provides these scholarships to current Benefis Health System employees and college students who want to change careers, further their education, or complete their degrees.

Margaret Wynn Memorial Nursing Scholarship

This scholarship was established through a living trust from Margaret Wynn, who passed away in 2005. Wynn worked as a nurse in Great Falls for many years and her scholarship helps LPNs, EMTs, and CNAs obtain an associate degree in nursing (AND) or a Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN). It also provides for a current RN to obtain a BSN and to advance further with specialty training certification or a post-graduate degree.

Darlene Glantz Skees Memorial Nursing Scholarship

Benefis employees who are actively delivering patient care can apply for this scholarship to obtain an associate degree in nursing (AND) or a Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN). This scholarship also provides an opportunity for a current RN to obtain a BSN.

Other Nursing Scholarships

Working nurses, nursing students, and people who want to pursue nursing can also apply for scholarships such as Mercy Flight Memorial Scholarship, Jane M. Buckman Husted Nursing Scholarship, and the Julie Hickethier Nursing Scholarship.
